Vehicle Description The Porsche 914, developed in cooperation with Volkswagen was the offered as the entry level Porsche.
Its mid engine layout endowed it with the one characteristic which would ensure its long awaited place as a coveted Porsche classic.
Today it is appreciated for its unique styling, go kart like handling, removable targa top and of course its Porsche DNA which gave rise to it's mid engined spiritual successor, the Boxster.
This early 1970 model has its original 1.
7 liter flat four but its fuel injection was replaced with a Weber carburetor.
It runs and drives well.
It's had some important rust repair in the rear rockers and the brakes have been overhauled.
The paint is an older respray that still presents nicely despite a few dings and chips.
