See My Ebay Store Vintage PIONEER SX-680 Solid State AM-FM Stereo Tuner Amplifier Receiver A great Vintage PIONEER SX-680 Solid State AM-FM Stereo Tuner Amplifier Receiver from the golden age of vintage audio. At 30 watts per channel it has a nice warm sound. All lights, inputs and speaker outputs are in working order. Power and tuning strength meters are working. Strong tuner, pulls in KNTU out of Denton. It has been cleaned and gone over completely. Here is what has been done: Dust has been blown out from inside unit. Cleaned and lubed all pots, switches, inputs and outputs with Deoxit Fader F5. Cleaned faceplate and knobs with a soft bristle brush. Take a look at the photos. The front faceplate and knobs are in good condition. The top of the faceplate has some scratches but the cabinet is good shape, marks and wear consistent with age and use. Cleaned and than buffed with soft cloth. All inputs and functions have been tested and the unit was listened to for 5 hours to insure everything is as it should be. All of the indicator lights are working and the meter for signal strength is functioning. No static, noise or distortion. Additional description and specifications are courtesy of the HiFiEngine.
