Vehicle Description The anniversary edition Corvettes have generally come later in the series allowing Chevrolet to offer a limited production car that highlights the best trim level and drivetrain combinations to represent the current generation.
There have been eight official Anniversary Editions offered, the first being the 25th on a 1978 C3 and the most recent being the 70th on a 2023 C8.
This and all 40th anniversary roadsters were exclusively offered in Ruby Red (paint, interior and top).
Very few came from the factory with a color matched removeable hardtop making this example a four season driver, and a rare one at that.
In total there were just over 22,000 Corvettes of all trim level produced in 1993, 6,749 of those were 40th Anniversary Corvettes, 2,043 of those were convertibles and considering only 976 of all the '93 Corvette Convertibles built were equipped with the factory Auxiliary Hardtop makes this unit one of maybe a handful produced.
Sporting only 55k miles and just three Texas owners this car presents extremely well.
Lots of recent maintenance including new Optispark distributor, ignition wires, spark plugs, water pump, thermostat, drive belt and fresh fluids.
