Target Hiring Range: $12.50/hr - $15.31/hr Essential Job Functions Process customer transactions utilizing specialized scale software. Accurately recording weights of incoming waste and monitoring incoming loads for unauthorized waste. Conducts charge, check and cash customer transactions. Inspects conditions in scale house and surrounding area for appearance, cleanliness, and safety. Provide entry level day-to-day administrative and business support. Respond to basic citizen inquiries through answering telephone calls, e-mails or face-to-face communication and direct calls and inquiries to appropriate personnel. Ensures customer compliance with facility rules and notifies supervisors of violations as necessary. Prepare and maintain office files, including office filing Collect and organize data to generate reports, presentations, and assist with research and projects. Maintain department accounting records including invoices, expenses and office supply orders. May send, receive and distribute documents, including faxes and correspondence to appropriate department personnel and customers. Preferred Knowledge - Abilities & Skills Education/ Experience: Up to 1 year advanced study or training beyond the high school level 1-2 years administrative experience Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Basic skills in PC and systems application Good customer service and telephone etiquette skills Good organizational skills Good oral and written communications skills Ability to multitask Ability to adapt to various working environments Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment Ability to work under close supervision Licenses & Certifications ? Valid Class C Texas driver's license Physical Tasks & Working Conditions The incumbent works in a typical office environment; relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. The incumbent will be required to stand for extended periods of time throughout the day. The hours of operation at the Landfill Scale house are Monday through Friday 7:00AM - 5:30PM and Saturday 7:00AM - 3:00PM. Staff is rotated to work on some Saturdays. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
