Business Development Manager (Rowlett) - TrueCar

The DealerScience Implementation team is a group of resourceful and skilled problem solvers with a knack for figuring things out.. We pride ourselves in working with each dealership individually to configure our products to align with how dealerships' sales processes currently work. Working on the DealerScience Implementation team requires a high level of attention to detail, ability to think outside the box and figure things out when there isn't always a lot of information. As a smaller business unit within the larger TrueCar ecosystem, there is huge opportunity for growth based on performance.


ABOUT THE JOB:



  • Working with our customer success team to setup and configure new customers in our system

  • Working with third parties that need to complete tasks during the implementation process and following up with them as needed

  • Compose detailed bug reports for the development team to resolve issues that may be discovered during customer onboarding

  • Keeping existing systems updated on the status of customers and making sure that any delays and approaching deadlines are communicated to the rest of the team

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and communicating them to supervisor/manager and working with the team to develop solutions

  • Problem solving, troubleshooting, and customer diagnostics during the onboarding process


WHAT YOU NEED:



  • Basic coding abilities (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)

  • Basic database querying (SQL)

  • Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with ability to extrapolate causes and solutions from diagnosis

  • A thirst for solving tricky problems

  • A desire to be the hero to every single person you chat with

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Smarts, humility, and comfort being resourceful in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills


This is a full-time role based in Boston.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
