Job Description

The Sales and Marketing Director is responsible for lead generation and management, conducting sales presentations, closing sales, and meeting monthly goals. Community Directors and the home office provide support to this role with a collaborative goal to reach and maintain 100% occupancy.

Position Details:



  • Community Name: Iris Memory Care of Rowlett

  • City, State: Rowlett, Texas 75088

  • Status: Full Time

  • Shift/Hours: Business hours with evening and weekend availability to meet with families and prospects at optimal times. Rotational MOD with other property level Directors.


Responsibilities:


The following responsibilities are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.



  • With direction from the Home Office, develop and execute the overall marketing and sales plan for the community

  • Increase and maintain occupancy levels and revenue production of the community

  • Generate and maintain sales leads

  • Complete presentations and tours with prospects and subsequently close sales

  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and professional referral sources in the area

  • Record all sales and marketing traffic and submit reports to the Executive Director and Home Office

  • Maintain up-to-date records of all communication with prospective residents

  • Maintain ongoing awareness of competitors actions, rates and census

  • Interacts with all leads whether provided through advertising, public relations, referral, or personal contact and to turn those leads into residents of the Community through the use of professional selling skills

  • Work with Community Directors and Home Office to develop and coordinate large activities for residents and prospective residents

  • Coordinate community advertising with the Home Office

  • Serve as manager on duty at the community as assigned


 


Qualifications:



  • Three or more years of progressive sales experience in the senior housing industry; Experience with Dementia residents helpful

  • Working knowledge of sales and marketing concepts to include principles and methods for promoting and selling products or services

  • Demonstrated success in planning, implementing, and evaluating successful marketing campaigns

  • Understanding of marketing strategies and tactics, and sales techniques

  • Experience and training in consultative selling skills is highly preferred

  • Working knowledge of personal computers and software to include Microsoft Office and CRM

  • Knows procedures for lead tracking; keeping accurate records on all leads and prospects

  • Must have the ability to work well under stress, complete assignments accurately, work independently, and manage time effectively

  • High degree of initiative and creativity, good judgment, and professional ethics

  • Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong management skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
