We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Laborer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in construction and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
-conduct research and gather information to determine how much money, materials, labour, and time each construction project requires reviewing the scope-of-work document to understand the project's requirements assessing building plans and specs visiting construction sites to learn more about the project compiling a list of materials necessary to complete the project and estimating their costs maintaining a directory of supplies, subcontractors, and contractors obtaining quotes from multiple suppliers and contractors to find the most suitable one collaborating with project managers, contractors, engineers, and suppliers to prepare accurate estimates outlining the required work to estimate labour costs conducting risk assessments and accounting for cost deviations drafting proposals that outline the project's required materials, costs, and timeline finding ways to lower project costs to adhere to a set budget Skills:
- Construction estimating - Project management - Construction management - Cost control - Ability to negotiate contracts - Experience with Bid Screen software for bidding purposes - Familiarity with Bluebeam for project documentation Joining our team as a Concrete Estimator offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the construction industry and contribute to exciting projects.
