Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take and develop dental x-rays - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history - Assist with dental lab work, including pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns - Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic health record systems like Epic - Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, billing, and insurance claims
Qualifications:
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred - Experience working with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions and restorations - Familiarity with pediatric dentistry techniques and behavior management strategies - Knowledge of medical coding and documentation practices - Proficient in using electronic health record systems like Epic - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our employees.
